A small alphabet library

Different marks,
same attention.

Calligraphy is not one correct look. Our sessions give you a few clear entry points, then help you notice what feels natural in your own hand.

Pointed pen

Fine hairlines and full downstrokes make this a useful place to understand pressure. We use it for names, envelopes, short quotations and patient, measured practice.

Broad edge

A wide nib makes structure visible. Its crisp angles and repeating proportions are generous teachers, whether you prefer formal forms or a looser contemporary variation.

Brush lettering

Brushes bring movement and a lively change of weight. We focus on control before flourish, using simple words and intervals that let each letter breathe.

Drawn letters

For anyone who likes building letters slowly, we combine pencil sketches, ink details and layout. This approach works well for posters, menus, small signs and personal projects.

Technique serves the message.

We do not ask you to imitate a historic hand perfectly. Instead, we borrow its useful logic: a reliable rhythm, a generous counter-space, a line that knows when to stop. The goal is a vocabulary you can use, adapt and enjoy.
